Rooibos Tea SymbolThe Carrot Cake Rooibos Tea Experience: decadent, exotic & comfortingSlice of Carrot Cake

Like a slice of homemade carrot cake, this rooibos blend is decadent and comforting. And yet there's something else there, too... a spiciness and exotic quality that takes the experience a step further.

Tasting Notes: sweet, spiced, satisfying

The autumn colors of this blend hint at its rich, warming flavor. Aroma-wise, it's cinnamon, spice and everything nice. And the flavor follows suit with hints of carrot, coconut, raisins, walnuts, ginger, cloves and maple brittle. The soft, woodsy sweetness of organic honeybush and organic rooibos round out the blend, making it extra soothing and satisfying.

Ingredients: Organic rooibos, organic honeybush, cinnamon, carrots, cloves, walnuts, raisins, ginger, coconut, maple brittle, natural flavor.

Additional Information

Savoring Your Experience:

No sweetener needed! This blend is uncannily like carrot cake already.

If you're feeling peckish, pair Carrot Cake Rooibos with cinnamon toast, fresh fruit, biscotti, scones or pound cake.

Fun Facts:

As strange as a vegetable in a cake may seem, carrots have been used as ingredients in cakes since Medieval times. The version of carrot cake that so many known and love today was popularized in the 1960s, and were absurdly popular in the 1970s. Today, the beloved flavor of carrot cake is seeing a revival, especially in gluten-free baking (and, very soon, in your tea cupboard!).

The Carrot Cake Rooibos for Fusion Teas quickly has become my favorite nighttime team. I add just a touch of honey or agave and it's my sweet treat after dinner without any caffeine. I highly recommend it.

This tea is awesome. When I am craving something sweet but don't want the calories this is my go to. Brew it up and sprinkle in a little stevia - and it will satisfy that sweet tooth! The stevia also helps to bring out the spices.

Fusion gets my vote for having the most inspired blends! I mean, look at that ingredient list! It’s a bunch of things you would actually find in a carrot cake! Infused, the color is the most orange I have ever seen a cup of tea! Of course it should be orange! The scent and flavor is JUST like carrot cake! The right amount of spicey and delicious! I think the maple brittle (!) acted as the frosting… I think I was even sort of chewing a bit while I was drinking this!

I LOVE this one!! I really enjoy carrot cake...minus the raisins (it's a texture thing) and not a fan of coconut (again, texture thing). THIS is PERFECT for me! I get to enjoy carrot cake without being picky PLUS, I'm not left with a ton of calories!! Very satisfying, what a treat!!!
